Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  Transfer students may apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) via the web at www.fafsa.ed.gov. For additional information, contact the Financial Aid Office at finaid@tctc.edu.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Official Transcripts:
  Official transcripts are required for all colleges attended.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  Not required.
• Essay:
  Not required.
• Application Fee:
  $30 non-refundable application fee.
• Interview:
  Not required.
• Other Requirements:
  Transfer students must take the placement test. You may be exempted from taking the placement test if you have completed college courses in English and math at the 101 level or higher with a minimum C grade or if you have previously taken Accuplacer.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  The College will grant credit for courses taken at any other regionally accredited post-secondary institution provided the student earned a "C" or above in those courses.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  A student must earn a minimum of 25% of the credit hours required for a degree, diploma, or certificate through courses taken at the College.
