Description: Course focuses on the physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and moral development of learners from early childhood through adolescence. Topics include the educational implications of developmental psychology and the interaction of culture, gender, socio-economic class, and family on student development. This course includes a 10-15 hour school-based service learning experience linked to course content. Notes: This course cannot be taken for S/U credit. A grade of C or higher is required for Teacher Education majors. Offered in fall, spring and summer. Prerequisites: EDUC 110. Corequisites: EDUC 210E, M, or S.
