Description: A study of the structure, chemistry and macromolecular interactions of biochemical systems; enzyme mechanisms and kinetics, bioenergetics, intermediary metabolism, principles of biochemical techniques and molecular genetics. Notes: Offered in fall. Prerequisites: A grade of C- or better in CHEM 302, CHEM 304, and CHEM 323, and EITHER BIOL 203 and 204 OR BIOL 220 and 222 OR BIOL 220 and 270. Corequisites: CHEM525.
