Students will also learn lens-based photography in the darkroom through Holga film cameras and recording digital video with their camera phones. Students will be taught programs from the Adobe Creative Suite for digital video and photo editing. This course will address various contemporary photographic practices and the medium's complex relationship to self-portraiture. Throughout the course, emphasis will be placed on utilizing the craft of photography to investigate and produce representations of the self.
