Description: The role of logistics and distribution within an organization's supply chain and business strategies. Design, management, and control of logistics systems, providing insight into the key functions and complex activities required to move goods through the supply chain including transportation, inventory management, warehousing, order fulfilment, facility location, and customer service will be emphasized. Related systems and analytics will also be covered. Prerequisites: C- or better in QMTH 205 or QMTH 680. All MGMT courses have a prerequisite of junior status, an overall GPA of at least 2.0, and a C- or better in HMXP 102 or HXCT 301.
