This course introduces financial management. Topics include the role of ethics in financial markets, financial analysis, agency conflict, cost and sources of capital, and project selection. In addition, stocks, bonds, mergers, and international financial management are surveyed. Prerequisite: C or better in ACCT 201, BA 101, ECON 101 or ECON 201 or ECON 202, and MATH 211 or BA 225, and an institutional GPA of 2.5 or better. For business majors additional prerequisite: completion of 45 credit hours. Three credit hours.
