This course focuses on nursing theory and practice to develop basic nursing strategies in assessment of health problems, diagnosis, nutrition, medication administration, and basic nursing interventions. The emphasis of the course is on nursing care skills essential to promote comfort and meet treatment needs, with opportunity for experiential learning.
