  This course provides an overview of environmental fluid mechanics and the role of fluid flows in pollutant transport in natural systems. Environmental flows covered include momentum driven flows (e.g. turbulent jets), buoyancy driven flows (e.g. smoke plumes), and advection and diffusion.
