A study of the major literary works of Chicano/a authors beginning in the 1960''s to the present. It is structured around topics such as: identity, race, social issues, culture, gender, and the Chicano/a experience. Consideration is given to Rivera, Cisneros, Valdez, and Burciaga, among others.
