It will introduce theory and practices from a range of related fields, including environmental education (EE), education for sustainable development (ESD), outdoor education, sustainability education, and environmental science using interactive, experiential and place-based learning classroom, lab and outdoor activities. In so doing, students will develop and deepen their environmental literacy as well as an individual perspective on ESE, and experiment with strategies for bringing environmental learning to school and/or community settings.
