  Professional geologists are required to interpret geologic and hydrogeologic data in the context of regulatory policy when attempting to solve environmental problems. This course will provide an introduction and synthesis of field methods and policies typically encountered by environmental geologists in the field, including study of wetlands, ground water flow and quality and assessment of contaminated soil and water.
