This course traces the historical and theoretical perspectives that influence global environmental policy and management, explores how multiple identities (e.g. gender, culture, race, and nation) impact the experience of environmental politics, and applies these theoretical and experiential perspectives to contemporary environmental issues (e.g. climate change, resource use, energy policy, and agriculture).
