Supervised work experience in an art history related environment, resulting in a meaningful project/activity for the employing firm and a scholarly project for the student. For three internship credit hours, a minimum of 135 hours of scheduled work, periodic class meetings and consultation with the instructor are required. A contractual agreement signed by the employer, the student, the instructor, the dean of the college is mandatory. Standard grading. A student may repeat ARTH U499 with a different internship description for a total of no more than six hours of undergraduate credit. Prerequisite: Junior level standing with six credit hours in art history or consent of instructor.
