This course teaches the fundamentals of drafting through the use of CAD and pencil sketches on gridded paper. The student will be introduced to basic computer-aided (CAD) with the AutoCAD program. Student will use AutoCAD to setup drawings and add lines, circles, arc, other shapes, geometric constructions, dimensioning, and text. Students will use display and editing techniques as well as obtain information about their drawings and work with drawing files.
