(Prereq: Grade of C or better in ENGL A102) This course provides an introduction to the foundations of business communications including an examination of methods, protocol, ethics, and cross-cultural aspects from an applied business perspective. Appropriate social interaction and engagement, within a managerial context, will also be discussed. Students develop and enhance business acumen through extensive business writing assignments (including business letters, memos, e-mails and reports), business presentations, role-plays, business case analysis, and mock interviews.
