Information for Transfer In Students

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  In order to transfer credit to PTC, a grade of "C" or better must have been earned in the subject area.
• Official Transcripts:
  Applicants seeking credit must submit an official transcript from all schools previously attended to the Student Records Office for evaluation.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  Not Required
• Essay:
  Not Required
• Application Fee:

• Interview:

• Other Requirements:
  Subjects being transferred must closely parallel subjects offered by Piedmont Technical College. Transfer students are not required to take the placement test if valid transfer credits are awarded in English and math.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  Piedmont Technical College endorses the concept that college learning may occur in a variety of settings. As a result, the college welcomes the opportunity to accept transfer credit from other regionally-accredited institutions.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  At least one-fourth of credits toward graduation must be earned at Piedmont Technical College.
