• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  There is a wide variety of assistance programs available at MTC including Federal Pell Grant, Federal SEOG, Federal Direct Loans, Federal Parent (PLUS) Loans, Work Study, Palmetto Fellows Scholarships, LIFE Scholarships, SC Need Based Grants, Lottery Tuition Assistance, SC Workforce Industrial Needs Scholarship Program, and MTC Foundation Scholarships.

Information for Transfer In Students

• Accepts Transfers:
  Yes. Applications, transcripts, and placement scores must be received in the Admissions Office at least three weeks prior to the published application deadline for the term in which the student plans to enroll.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Official Transcripts:
  Applicants who have attended a regionally accredited college or university must request that all colleges previously attended send official transcripts directly to the Midlands Technical College Admissions Office.
• SAT Scores:
  Not required for admission to the college. May be used to expedite admissions into certain programs.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  No
• Essay:

• Application Fee:

• Interview:
  Not required for admission to the college. May be required for admission into certain programs.
• Other Requirements:
  Transcripts will be reviewed to determine if the placement testing requirement will be waived and if transfer credit will be awarded. Submit required application materials at least 3 weeks prior to the published application deadline for the term.

Information for Transfer Out Students

• Transfer Agreements:
  The Statewide Articulation Agreement approved by the SC Commission on Higher Education for transfer from two- to four-year public institutions is applicable to all public institutions.
