Information for Transfer In Students

• Accepts Transfers:
  FDTC admits transfer students regardless of standing or status at the previous institution. Students are admitted to our institution based on the entrance requirements for our specific programs.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  In order to transfer credit, a grade of "C" or better must have been made in the subject.
• Official Transcripts:
  Transfer applicants must request transcripts from each college attended. For admission, transcripts must show the applicant has completed at least one college level Math and one college level English composition course with a grade of "C" or above
• SAT Scores:
  All students are given the opportunity to take the college placement test to determine course placement. Students are placed in courses based on multiple placement scores provided.
• Letters of Recommendation:

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  Minimum grade of "C" required to be awarded transfer credit.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  Must complete 25% of the total hours required for the select major at Florence-Darlington Technical College
