Florence-Darlington Technical College (FDTC) is a post-secondary, public, two-year institution that offers comprehensive technical education, workforce development, and other educational services (including general education) to students, businesses, and industries. Through instructional programs, business and industry partnerships, and community involvement, FDTC plays a prominent role in the economic development of the Pee Dee region of South Carolina and the quality of life of the regions citizens.

  • Minimum GPA:
    In order to transfer credit, a grade of "C" or better must have been made in the subject.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Transfer applicants must request transcripts from each college attended. For admission, transcripts must show the applicant has completed at least one college level Math and one college level English composition course with a grade of "C" or above
  • SAT Scores:
    All students are given the opportunity to take the college placement test to determine course placement. Students are placed in courses based on multiple placement scores provided.
