The information presented is an unofficial guide to how courses may transfer. If you complete the following at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College:

  • 3 hours. Prerequisite: Exemption from or successful completion of READ 0099 and ENGL 0099. A survey of United States history to the post-Civil War period. This course covers the major social, economic, political, and cultural issues which accompanied the development of American life from pre-Columbian beginnings to Reconstruction. A particular emphasis will be placed on the role of Georgia in the development of the nation. Fall, Spring, Summer.

  • This course is a survey of U. S. History from discovery to 1877. This course includes political, social, economic, and intellectual developments during this period.

Orangeburg-Calhoun Tech does not generally accept courses older than 7 years for transfer, however, they may be received by appealing this decision to the Dean of the Academic Program under consideration.
