The information presented is an unofficial guide to how courses may transfer. Other factors to consider are grades received in the courses, the year in which the course was taken, and the major pursued after transfer. If you complete the following at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College:

  • 3 hours. Prerequisite: Exemption from or successful completion of READ 0099 and ENGL 0099. A survey of Western art from prehistoric through medieval times. The formal characteristics of the painting, sculpture, architecture, and some of the minor arts will be analyzed. An introduction to the basic knowledge necessary for painting, sculpture, and the related arts. A study of outstanding examples of painting, sculpture, and the related arts. Spring, even years.

You may receive up to 3.00 credits at Technical College of the Lowcountry:

  • This course is a visual and historical survey of western art from the paleolithic age to the renaissance. The techniques, forms, and expressive content of painting, sculpture, and architecture are studied within the context of the cultural enviornment which produced them.
