The information presented is an unofficial guide to how courses may transfer. Other factors to consider are grades received in the courses, the year in which the course was taken, and the major pursued after transfer. In all instances, final decisions about acceptance of course credit will be made by Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College.

If you complete the following at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College:

  • 3 hours. Prerequisite: ENGL 1101 with a grade of "C" or better. English 1102 is a composition course in which literature is used as a basis for argument and which emphasizes analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of a variety of texts. The course promotes academic writing and incorporates advanced research methods, including capability in electronic resources and documentation. Fall, Spring, Summer.

You may receive up to 3.00 credits at Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College:

  • This is a university transfer course in which the following topics are presented: development of writing skills through logical organization, effective style, literary analysis, and research. An introduction to literary genre is also included.

Orangeburg-Calhoun Tech does not generally accept courses older than 7 years for transfer, however, they may be received by appealing this decision to the Dean of the Academic Program under consideration.
