Description: This course will focus on Cyber and Corporate crime. The course will begin with an analysis of corporate crime and what it is, along with its' continuing growth as a form of crime. The class will also focus on how information related to crime is stored, analyzed, and how to preserve that data for successful investigation/prosecution, tracking, digital footprints. The Corporate Crime section of the course will cover mail and wire fraud, perjury, obstruction of justice, security fraud/insider trading/accounting fraud, foreign corrupt practices act, corporate criminal liability, and 5th & 6th amendment application within corporate crime. Prerequisite: SOCL 227
