Conceptual overview of necessary mathematical concepts for data analytics. Essentials of linear algebra, multivariate calculus, and probability. Insights into the mathematics of regression, optimization, gradient descent, principal component analysis, clustering, classification, and graphs. Prerequisite: C or better in MATH 122 or MATH 141; C or better in MATH 170. Prerequisite or Corequisite: C or better in STAT 301 or STAT 516. FS: 06/07/2023.
