Description: Documentary photography is an umbrella term encapsulating a wide range of approaches in art and reportage. Students will explore the accurate representation of people, places, and objects in contemporary documentary practice. The course focuses on the skills and technical knowledge necessary for students to advance in visual storytelling through a series of photographs with a personal point of view. Required equipment for this course includes a wide-angle lens and a flash. Notes: Offered in spring.
