Description:
Financial Statement Analysis teaches a working understanding of how to read and analyze financial statements for purposes of assessing and analyzing financial condition and past performance. In addition to learning and applying basic accounting concepts and principles, the course has a practical orientation of applying theoretical concepts into corporate finance. Students will utilize Microsoft Excel as a spreadsheet tool to analyze historical results and project future performance. At its core, the course is designed to expose students to many of the skills and applications of a financial analyst.
