This course explores the theory, research, models, and approaches to effective leadership and mentoring in STEM contexts. Topics include the roles and responsibilities of mentors/mentees, diversity in mentoring, effective leadership strategies, teamwork, and the impact of existing mentoring programs in STEM. Students self-assess their leadership strengths, examine career pathways, and create an individualized development plan. Preq: Sophomore standing.
