This course explores issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, and broadening participation in STEM fields. Students identify existing inequities, understand structural barriers, and consider design principles to promote accessibility in STEM classrooms and lab spaces. Students design, implement, and asses an inclusive STEM education curricular unit. May be repeated for a maximum of six credits. Preq: Sophomore standing and consent of instructor.
