Provides learning opportunities for students to practice integrated STEM research that addresses global challenge topics applied to a local context. Students design and implement a place-based integrated STEM education research project, while considering the impact of research on local communities, and identifying diverse outreach strategies. May be repeated for a maximum of six credits. Preq: Sophomore standing and consent of instructor.
