This is an inquiry-based course that offers an introduction to the theoretical and conceptual frameworks in Women's and Gender Studies. Students will engage with intersectional and interdisciplinary approaches to research and activism in an effort to understand more fully concerns of power, oppression, and liberation that are central to the discipline. Students will develop their own critical frameworks for a research or activism project on a topic of their choosing.
