(3 credits)(Prereq: SOC*101 or SOC*102; and junior or senior standing and instructor consent) This course provides students opportunities to learn and discuss the various ways incarcerated individuals experience living in a criminal justice institution, how they affect and are affected by society and the criminal justice system, and how their incarceration experiences can be applied to better understand social justice and the students' own lives. Students interact and collaberate directly with locally incarcertated people in the pursuit of shared understandings of the criminal justice system. F
