An examination of the cultural, social, and political developments of Britain in the era of the Tudor and Stuart monarchs. Topics will include the reign of Henry VIII, the English Reformation, the Elizabethan period, the rise of the Stuarts, the English Civil War, the Restoration period, and the Glorious Revolution.
