Description: An advanced exploration of video, installation, performance, and digital media with an emphasis on research-based modes of making. Projects are encouraged to be driven by concept rather than medium. This is a directed study seminar, resulting in a cohesive body of work. Prerequisites: ARTS 307, ARTS 324, and 3 credits of either ARTS 407 or ARTS 424. All ARTS (3:7) numbered above 375 have a prerequisite of sophomore status or permission of the Chair of the Department of Fine Arts; or students enrolled in the MFA in Studio Art. Notes: The course may be repeated for a total of 6 credit hours.
