Practice in basic audio production (signal-flow, digital audio workstations, plug-ins, virtual instruments, effects) and beat making (audio production in a digital workstation using samples, loops, and virtual instruments). Concepts of music production and prominent styles in beat-driven music. Prerequisite: C or better in MUSC 114 or a passing score on the Music Theory Diagnostic Exam. FS: 12/01/2021.
