Theories and practical methods for solving complex equipment problems in manufacturing. Topics include system flow, machine state and logic, root cause analysis and communication of results. Work at a manufacturing location may be required. Two class and three laboratory hours per week. Prerequisite: AAS degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, Automated Manufacturing or Engineering Technology degree or consent of department chair.
