Description: The purpose of this course is to provide an analysis of applied human anatomy, with emphasis placed on the musculoskeletal system, in relation to human movement, orthopedic injuries, and rehabilitation. Major components of the course include discussing physical concepts and how to apply scientific principles to sport-specific movements, joint actions, and muscle actions within the upper and lower extremities. Prerequisite: EXSC 101; PESH 102; BIOL 213 or BIOL 307; minimum of 2.5 cumulative GPA. Notes: Offered fall and spring.
