Study of aspects in language and culture as they present themselves as challenges for various societies and cultures today. These challenges define and address major global questions of the 21st century through the lens of language and culture. Topics include global, international, and universal issues that require interdisciplinary approaches. May be repeated for a maximum of six credits, but only if different topics are covered. Preq: Sophomore standing.
