This course considers the financial side of preservation work from three career perspectives graduates of the Historic Preservation masters program often pursue after graduation: entrepreneur/consultant; non-profit/advocacy; and development/rehabilitation. Guest speakers, readings, and projects contribute to a more in-depth understanding of topics such as finding preservation work and setting a fee schedule, purchasing property, estimating scopes of work and pricing preservation costs, and securing funding sources for preservation work. Preq: HP 8050 and HP 8070 and HP 8080 and HP 8190.
