This course provides students with a well-grounded understanding and appreciation of the contemporary methods, tools and techniques used to make evidence-based managerial decisions. Managers and practitioners in business, industry and government make substantial investments in putting in place the means to collect and store data, but may not have the basic technical or analytical understanding necessary to chart a roadmap to discover the full potential of the data. This course intends to provide such an understanding to help students become better managers/decision makers. May be repeated for a maximum of nine credits. Preq: MGT 9060 or consent of instructor.
