Description:
This course provides students hands-on experience using computational and statistical methods to solve biological problems with an emphasis on human phenotypes. Students are introduced to bioinformatics tools used to analyze data generated from high-throughput molecular biology efforts. Fundamental concepts in Linux, bash scripting, data visualization, publishing techniques, and genomics workflows are covered.
