Course examines youth mental health in the context of the 21st century through the lens of a strengths-based positive youth development framework. Issues impacting youth mental, emotional, and social health (MESH) are examined with a specific focus on mental health and well-being pertaining to supports, opportunities, challenges, and barriers facing youth. This course culminates with Youth Mental Health First Aid certification. Preq: YDP 3000.
