(=ENVI*420)(3 credits)(Prereq: A grade of 'C' or better in BIOL*122/L, MATH*160 or MATH*160B, CHEM*112/L, and PHYS*205/L or PHYS*211/L)(Coreq: MSCI*420L) Students actively investigate the earth system along with current environmental issues. Emphasis is placed on the integration of the many subsystems that comprise the earth system. Environmental issues are scientifically explored in an effort to develop sustainable solutions. The lab is project oriented, including both a local environmental study and a global remote sensing study. S, even years.
