This course is designed as a preparation course for MATH 1010, MATH 1020, or MATH 1150. Includes a brief review of elementary algebra, and study of the properties of linear, quadratic, exponential, and logarithmic functions; polynomials; systems of linear equations; applications. Students who have received credit for any other mathematical sciences course will not be allowed to enroll in or receive credit for MATH 1980. Coreq: MATH 1981.
