Applies an ecological perspective to examine intimate partner violence, including physical, sexual, psychological, and other forms of violence and control that occur between current or former romantic partners, as well as sexual assault occurring between acquaintances. The course also examines criminal justice, public health, and community responses to intimate partner violence, with an emphasis on prevention. May also be offered as JUST 3840. Preq: JUST 2880 or PSYC 2010 or SOC 2010 or SOC 2020 or SOC 2880.
