Description: Advanced Drawing will emphasize independent studio practice where students refine their individual drawing processes and thematic content. Students will engage in research and development in preparation for executing a thesis body of work. Prerequisite: 6 credit hours of ARTS 420: Intermediate Drawing. All ARTS (3:7) numbered above 375 have a prerequisite of sophomore status and the successful completion of the specialization portfolio review or permission of the Chair of the Department of Fine Arts. Notes: The course may be repeated for a total of 9 credit hours.
