This course introduces students to the principles and practice of planning, designing, operating, and assessing sport facilities. It emphasizes the organizational theories, including risk management, liability, legal and ethical implications, personnel, and environmental resources management. Also, the course examines the contemporary issues related to the construction and operations of indoor stadiums and arenas, athletic field complexes, risk and safety systems that protect visitors, spectators, athletes, staff, and the sport facility.
