Description:
A study of the application of the principles of operant and respondent conditioning to the control of human behavior. The concepts covered include reinforcement, extinction, punishment, generalization, and stimulus discrimination. These concepts can be applied in a variety of settings, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, intellectual and developmental disabilities, substance abuse treatment, animal training, organizational behavior management, anxiety and depression, marital therapy, gerontology, and athletics.
