Introduction to the use of analytical tools to inform business decisions, with emphasis on economic models and for use with economic data. Application of methods using large datasets and communication of estimates to help make business decisions. Topics include panel data analysis and methods to establish causal inference such as experiments, difference-in-differences, instrumental variables, regression discontinuity, matching estimators, and heterogeneous treatment effects.
