IENG 456. Supply Chain Engineering Management. 3(3,0). This course emphasizes the study of various aspects of supply chain engineering operations including the following: project scheduling and management, the critical path method, line-balancing techniques, the concept of a basic production control system, control of inventory within a supply chain, planning methods, scheduling techniques and production control techniques. The most economical methods, mechines, operations and materials for the manufacture of a product are focused on as the preferred manufacturing supply chain solution alternatives. Case studies are also used. Prerequisite IENG 252.
