Covers the principles of hydroponic plant production in controlled environments. Topics include aeroponics, aquaponics, and vertical farming systems. Focus is on nutrient solution delivery and lighting systems for indoor farming. Major crops grown in these systems are discussed in detail. Preq: CH 1010 and either BIOL 1030 or BIOL 1100.
