Description: In this seminar, students learn about the research departmental faculty engage in. They also gain concrete "how to" information on networking, resume building, and interviewing. Experiential learning opportunities- meaning significant out-of-class experiences such as study abroad, research assistantships, internships, and service learning- are emphasized. Prerequisite: SOCL 101 or 201. Notes: It is recommended that students take this within their first year of declaring the major. A grade of S or U is recorded. Offered fall and spring. Lab Fee: $15.
